This is my first time buying Alegria and I am in love with these shoes. I am a 7.5 or 8 depending on brand, with my right foot a little smaller one shoe is always a little annoyingly loose - the 8 is great on both feet for me. I am a very thin person and I was worried these would just look too big but they don't. . As background, I have to wear shoes ALL the time to avoid pain on hard surfaces and keep my feet warm. I have mild neuropathy and a condition where my body doesn't regulate my core temp well (Raynaud's), which causes a lot of numbness/pain in the toes if I get a chill. I also have wood floors and go up and down stairs all day. These shoes are secure, not slippery or hot and sweaty, they have awesome support with some cushion in the sole, and the inside has a soft feel without socks. I still have room to wear socks comfortably and they look cute with different types of jeans. I actually bought another high end brand of clogs before these Alegria but they were hard in the sole, not flexible, and hurt within minutes so I returned. I also didn't feel secure going down the stairs in the other brand. Not that I am unstable, the other shoes didn't go back far enough to prevent them from sliding off when you step down. I have seen these shoes on nurses and now I know why. I took some pictures so you can see how they look with different jean styles.I usually get insoles for extra cushion but don't need it with these. If you did need insoles, I feel you may need to go up half a size. If you have Prime, you can return easily so I recommend trying your normal size to start. I got the colorful pattern for fun and am definitely getting some other styles because they are totally worth it. I know they are not cheap but after buying a lot of less pricey shoes that end up getting worn very little, this is a win!I love the shoes, I am in Nursing and I walk All day on my Job, I have tried All types of shoes and none seem to give me comfort, a co-worker told me about Alegria clogs , so I said I am going to try these shoes and oh my , they are so comfortable. I can walk better, my feet don’t hurt like they use to, I am very satisfiedCute shoes and they are very comfortable:)Very comfortable for working 12 hours, love them!Loved the color and since this is my 5th pair, I know they are going to fit great!Look greatI have over 30 pairs of Alegria shoes and so far these are my favorite. I usually wear them in fall and winter, but these have more of a summer look and I wear them without socks.I am a 60 year old RN. Having had plantar fasciitis in the past I knew the symptoms and what to do. I bought these shoes on suggestion from someone else who had positive results from them and am so glad I did. I was already using OTC anti-inflammatory cream ( Trolamine salicilate 10%) at least twice a day which I continued to do after getting these shoes. I could tell the difference the 1st day I wore them. I had taken a backup pair of shoes with me to work expecting to have to change out midway but did not have to use them. My feet felt so much better at the end of that shift, I knew I had made a good selection. Now approx 2 months later my feet continue to improve. They no longer scream at me in the morning or when I get up after a brief rest which is tell tale sx of PF. They are no longer screaming at me at the end of a l2 hour shift. I am not big on writing reviews but I felt I should pass on this positive experience. I have purchased two more pair. One more for work in colors that match my uniform and another basic color and texture for everyday wear.Pros.-Great Arch support.-Well made, sturdy shoe.-Replaceable footbed.-Great variety of styles and colors (some nurses like flashy colors on their shoes).Cons.-sizing seems a little inconsistent between styles. I have found I need to size up for the Mary Jane style. but this clog style seems to be size appropriate.-looks a little clunky on the feet but that is a small price for the comfort.- I wish they came in more neutral appearing colors for everyday, general use and versatility in blending with a variety of everyday clothing.I’m a chef And on my feet over 10 hours a day. These really helped alleviate the pressure. Just wish the tops were softer my pinky toes both have blistersLike looks and colour. Body of shoe separates from insole pinching my feet. Can’t wear them :(
